Terainer Carroll Brown, Martha Dobbs, Colleen Lauless, Marlo Mysliwiec, and Kate Vincek all made presentations at the 5th Annual Undergraduate Research Conference, with Dobbs and Vincek receiving honors for outstanding presentations.Dobbs and Vincek presented Solo Forms in Contemporary Choreograph: Performance and Analysis of Jan Van Dyke's Luna.
Mysliwiec presented Dance for the Camera, with her original piece, ...Hale, Lauless presented a poster review of Community Outreach in Performing Arts: A Case Study of the Dance Africa Detroit Touring Program, and Brown presented Arts Education and Student Achievement.
These projects were mentored by Dr. Doug Risner through undergraduate research grants. The next round of proposals for future projects are due November 21, 2008, so students should check out the application checklist.
