Aaron Smith Receives Scholarship to Joffrey

Sophomore Dance Major Aaron Smith will be attending the Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive this summer on a Full Scholarship thanks to the assistance of Meg Paul.

Here is the summer intensive description, from the website:

The Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensive identifies a dancer’s strengths and weaknesses and strives to improve each dancer through a detailed corrective process of principled training while also nurturing their personal artistry. When a student has made sufficient progress, and upon the recommendation of the faculty, he or she may be invited into the year-round Trainee Program, the School’s pre-professional training program.

The Summer Intensive exposes students to a rigorous and exciting ballet program. The School invites master teachers to join our renowned faculty who give instruction in a professional setting while challenging each student to reach the peak of their potential.

Congratulations, Aaron!

Master Class!
